What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the operational efficiency of the Pharmacy Department through fiscal management activities and data analysis
- Ensure accurate and timely billing procedures performed by the department
- Coordinate with Patient Financial Services to address underpayments or denials
- Monitor purchasing for contract compliance and accurate pricing, identifying savings opportunities
- Generate reports related to current expenses to aid in budgeting and performance improvement activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Hospital Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with two (2) years of experience in pharmacy or one (1) year of experience with financial reporting; OR
- Associate’s degree in a related field with four (4) years of experience in pharmacy or three (3) years of experience with financial reporting; OR
- High School Diploma and Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician within 15 months of hire, with six (6) years of experience in a healthcare setting or five (5) years of experience with financial reporting or data analytics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Direct experience in data analysis and/or healthcare planning
- Two (2) years of experience in a professional capacity in healthcare, preferably in Pharmacy
- Familiarity with pharmacy billing and compliance regulations
- Experience with inventory management and optimization techniques
- Knowledge of 340B program compliance
