What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and support the completion of pharmacy payer audits, including obtaining claim data and reviewing dispensing activities for billing errors
- Communicate with pharmacies to ensure claims data verification and request claim adjustments as needed
- Engage with pharmacy payers, auditors, and consultants to discuss audit requests and results
- Document audit results within internal systems and prepare appropriate documentation for audits
- Develop creative training programs in the employer's Learning Management System (LMS) to assist with franchise education
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3+ years of pharmacy experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in Infusion, Long Term Care, Specialty, or Mail Order pharmacy is highly desired
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practice, including statutory laws and regulations
- Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
- Intermediate to advanced skill set in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Pharmacy audit experience is highly desired
- Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing software (e.g., CareTend, CPR+, etc.) is highly desirable
- Strong business acumen with the ability to make good business decisions
- Highly skilled communicator in verbal, written, and oral presentation of information
- Solution-oriented with excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
