What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide efficient and accurate responses to pharmacy benefit inquiries from members, providers, and internal teams
- Educate customers on drug formulary guidelines and assist with prior authorization requests
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to resolve complex pharmacy issues
- Document all customer interactions accurately within the appropriate systems
- Identify trends or issues impacting health plan members and suggest process improvements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of relevant customer-facing service experience in a high-volume call center or insurance environment
- 2 years of relevant experience in pharmacy technician roles, including pharmacy billing or claim adjudication
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information with integrity
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree
- Certified Pharmacy Technician from the PTCB Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician
