What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide patient, provider, and customer care while utilizing the pharmacy computer system
- Prepare and label medications for distribution in compliance with regulations
- Participate in inventory management and maintain pharmacy records
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new pharmacy personnel
- Perform housekeeping duties in the pharmacy in adherence to hospital and accreditation policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician within 2 years from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB or NHA)
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with the healthcare regulatory environment
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Commitment to adhering to organization policies and procedures
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a clinical or pharmacy setting
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical names and medication management
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory standards
