Teach highly-engaging live classes over Zoom twice per week (morning and evening class schedules available)
Grade student projects and provide feedback as necessary
Communicate regularly with students over email and other community tools, inspiring them and guiding them through graduation
Join weekly meetings to receive guidance and direction from the internal team at Stepful
Provide ongoing support, trouble-shoot issues, and prepare and plan for future modules, as needed
Active Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician certification (must have current state license and national certification)
2+ years of online teaching experience in pharmacy or pharmacy technician courses, including course delivery, assessment, and student support
3+ years of professional experience as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician, preferably within the last ten years
Experience with digital tools for teaching in either virtual or blended/hybrid formats
Experience teaching adult students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable using LMS platforms and virtual teaching tools
Commitment to inclusive, accessible, and career-focused healthcare education
Ability to work 7-10 hours per week per class

The opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pharmacy Technician Instructor to teach our virtual 15-week Pharmacy Technician (PhT) program. Stepful’s learning programs are designed to support students at every step of the process, from getting certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board to finding high-quality healthcare jobs. The ideal candidate is excited to deliver high-quality online instruction and ensure students are well-prepared for certification and real-world pharmacy technician roles.
This is a fully remote, part-time, 1099 contract role.

The hourly pay rate for this opportunity is $30.00/hour.
