      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Accurately enter and process prescriptions and prepare unit dose medications
      - Manage inventory control and maintain care of supplies and equipment
      - Provide exceptional customer service both in person and over the telephone
      - Assist pharmacists with daily departmental activities, including training new staff
      - Perform billing, record keeping, monthly audits, and other clerical functions as assigned

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 1040 hours of pharmacy technician experience
      - Completion of Pharmacy Department's Orientation and relevant training programs within 6 months of hire
      - State registration in the state of employment is required
      - Must be at least 18 years old and have graduated from high school or attained a GED
      - Ongoing continuing education and license renewal as required by the state's Board of Pharmacy

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience as a pharmacy technician with continuous registration
      - Completion of a board-approved technician training program
      - Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
      - Current enrollment in an accredited Pharm.D. program
      - Experience with Tier III qualifying work within the past year
