Process incoming and outgoing transfer requests, verifying all patient and prescription data
Review account billing for accuracy and communicate changes accordingly with patients
Coordinate patient profiles with appropriate pharmacy support and services
Providing an exceptional customer service experience each day in a phone-based environment
Perform claim adjudication and auditing duties such as prior authorizations, billing and eligibility checks
Working through current case queues to solve problems for patient care issues
Patient outreach to collect payments and coordinate payment plans
Maintaining patient records with strong attention to detail and confidentiality
Accurate retrieval of all prescription information and verifying through doctor calls
Performing in a high volume, fast paced environment to support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base
Other tasks as required

Thorough drug knowledge
Pharmacy billing knowledge
Knowledge of appropriate processes in taking prescriptions, clarifications and transfers including clear written and verbal communication
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Ability to think critically and document pertinent details in a world class manner that is compliant with state and federal regulations
Ability to work Monday through Friday 9am until 5:30pm
Must be 18+ years of age
High school diploma/GED
Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
Prior experience coordinating prescription transfers, preferred
Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate, required
Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy
Ability to perform in an office based (or remote) setting that requires sitting at a desk 90% of the time

Job Details
Experienced Pharmacy Technicians in Operations may hold various duties to ensure ExactCare’s patients receive quality care out of their pharmacy services. Job duties will include multiple tasks daily such as phone work, navigating multiple pharmacy software systems and supporting the various stages of patient care while working efficiently to understand the department’s collective goals. These areas of responsibility will fluctuate based on organizational needs, allowing the Pharmacy Technician to develop multiple skill sets. This is an office (or remote) based, cubicle environment, allowing the Pharmacy Technician to provide an exceptional patient experience.
