      The Central Fill Pharmacy supports our retail stores ensuring proper filling, packaging, processing, and delivery of prescriptions.

      What You'll Do:
      As a Part Time Central Fill Pharmacy Technician, you will play an integral part in getting generic and brand medications from our wholesalers and generic warehouse into our robotic prescription fill system and then dispensed and packaged for individual customers who pick up their prescriptions at their local Publix store. Responsibilities include:
      • Provide online support for Florida and Georgia Publix retail pharmacies, assisting with tasks within EnterpriseRX, our store dispensing technology
      • Stock Central Fill pharmacy shelves with prescription medication from wholesale deliveries and the Publix generic pharmacy warehouse
      • Fill, dispense and package Central Fill prescriptions
      • Fill canisters with medication for robotic dispensing
      • Communicate with store personnel to clarify prescription data
      • File prescriptions in bins, assign delivery totes to retail pharmacies
      • Check out prescriptions, pack, and seal totes for delivery
      • Transport totes to shipping/receiving areas to be shipped out
      • be at least 18 years old
      • high school diploma
      • 3 months pharmacy experience or completion of an accredited pharmacy training program
      • registered with the State of Florida as a pharmacy technician
      • knowledge of:
        • retail pharmacy software, retail, or warehouse technology
        • pharmacy retail laws, rules, policies, and procedures
      • be able to:
        • operate a computer
        • work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
        • stand for several hours, basic physical abilities
        • successfully complete a Criminal Background Check (CBC) and drug test
        • not have a positive Publix drug test within the previous 3 years
