What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Efficiently answer a multi-line phone system
- Triage patients over the telephone and assess their concerns
- Implement a plan of action to accomplish established patient care goals
- Utilize established patient care protocols to provide prompt and efficient care
- Maintain a smooth flow of patients through the unit
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current NYS RN or LPN license and CPR certification
- At least one (1) year of Nursing experience
- Experience with phone triage in a group practice preferred
- Knowledge of electronic medical record and practice management software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience as a Phone Triage Nurse in a healthcare-related setting
