      SUMMARY:
      Individuals selected will be responsible for teaching Physical Education and Health. Knowledge and skills required include expertise in Physical Education and Health instruction for students, curriculum development and delivery, classroom management, student assessment, as well as written and oral communication. Secondary Physical Education and Health licensure required.

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      Education and Experience:
      Commitment to working effectively with students and families from diverse cultural, ability, and economic backgrounds; demonstrated preparation, skill, and commitment to providing for the individual learning needs of all students; ability to create positive, inclusive learning environments for all students; skill in using positive, constructive disciplinary approaches; ability to organize and plan for student learning; familiarity with current teaching/learning theories; skill in establishing and maintaining positive relationships; diversity of interests and experience.

      Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

      185 Days
      HEA Union Contract

      Range: BA: $45,627- $65,024
      MA: $50,702 - $82,203
