      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Administer comprehensive physical therapy modalities/regimens to patients in their place of residence
      - Follow the plan of care developed by the Physical Therapist using a variety of treatment techniques
      - Promote clients' healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
      - Consult and practice with other health professionals involved in patients' care
      - Provide quality, personalized, evidence-based care and proven interventions specific to patients' needs
      - Complete required documentation for patient visits and episodes as per guidelines
      - Instruct patients and family/significant others in home exercise programs to facilitate function

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Successful completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by CAPTE, Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education
      - One year of hospital or home care experience is preferred
      - Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
      - Must have dependable transportation, possess a valid state driver's license, and automobile insurance
      - Currently licensed by the state board of Physical Therapy
      - Current AHA CPR certification is required
      - Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills

      - 0-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a home healthcare setting
