- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
- College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
- CPR Certification
Overview
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: 1807 Short Branch Drive, Suite 103, Trinity, FL
Schedule: Full Time Mon - Fri. Center hours 7am - 7pm Mon - Fri
Compensation: Starting at $25+/hr. Starting rate calculated by experience.
Incentives: $6000 bonus PLUS indefinite student debt repayment benefit program of $200/month.
Select Physical Therapy has an immediate need for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Full Time outpatient opportunity. Newly licensed PTA graduates and experienced PTA (preferably with outpatient experience), APPLY! Join our team of 2 PTs, 1 PTA, 1 OT Hand Therapists and two front office support staff at this outpatient center. We treat general outpatient orthopedic conditions (non-op, pre-op post-op), neuro, vestibular, concussion, hand therapy, dry needling and TMJ conditions. Mentorship available for new graduates.
