What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in providing therapeutic services and activities under the guidance of a Physical Therapist
- Support patients in maintaining or improving their level of independence in their home environment
- Build rewarding relationships with a diverse patient population
- Exercise independence and flexibility in your career while providing care
- Travel to patient homes to deliver services as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Oregon Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire
- Washington Physical Therapist Assistant License upon hire if practicing within this state
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in home health care settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients effectively
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
