What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the provision of physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Follow the patient-specific treatment plans established by the supervising physical therapist
- Report any changes in the patient's condition that are inconsistent with planned progress or treatment goals
- Provide care in patients' homes, promoting comfort and independence
- Collaborate with a compassionate team to enhance patient care and community health
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Completion of necessary education to attain Physical Therapy Assistant certification in the state of California
- California Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Home Health
