What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assess and diagnose patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and minor conditions
- Conduct physical exams and document detailed medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging
- Administer treatments such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate of an ARC-PA-accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Florida
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and capacity for quick decision-making
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Hospital or acute care experience preferred, but not required
