      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Analyze outstanding insurance accounts daily and initiate follow-up communications
      - Communicate with payors and internal departments to gather critical information for claim resolutions
      - Research and respond to inquiries from the customer service department professionally
      - Review and correct coding edits and denials, ensuring compliance with coding rules
      - Maintain confidentiality of patient/physician information while providing support to various personnel

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
      - Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience (Required)
      - Basic knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding (Required)
      - Strong verbal and written communication skills (Required)
      - Certification as a Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent (Required)

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Billing experience in a multi-specialty group
      - Additional certifications such as RCC or ROCC
      - Proficient in computer software related to billing and coding
      - Excellent interpersonal skills to foster cooperation and influence others
