What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Diagnose and treat medical and geriatric disorders using appropriate techniques
- Supervise residents and students conducting direct clinical care
- Ensure timely completion of clinical charting and documentation
- Consult with medical center staff on a variety of patient care issues
- Provide leadership guidance and consultation to staff while managing human resource aspects of the Home-Based Primary Care program
What is Required (Qualifications):
- U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when qualified citizens are unavailable
- Degree of Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Current, full and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth
- Completion of residency training in an accredited core specialty program (Geriatrics, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine)
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Board Certified or Eligible in Geriatrics
- Relevant experience in Geriatrics
