SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Works in the delivery of proton therapy treatment.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES·Machine Quality Assurance
Perform measurements, data analysis, report generation for proton therapy treatment rooms according to monthly and annual quality assurance program. Develop expertise on proper use of specialized radiation detectors. Troubleshoot and help remediate quality assurance tests that are 'borderline pass' or 'fail' status.·Patient Quality Assurance
Perform patient-related measurements, data analysis, report generation for proton therapy patients according to quality assurance program. Develop expertise on proper use of specialized radiation detectors. Troubleshoot and help remediate quality assurance tests that are 'borderline pass' or 'fail' status.·Research Support
Provide research support to physicists and research facility. Independent research, if desired, is permitted and may be part of mentorship by Medical Physics group.·Other duties
The Medical Physics group, having a diverse portfolio of clinical and research roles, may require the AMP to assist in other clinical, technical or research duties. This also includes records & inventory (maintain equipment inventory, as well as calibration records).

Required:·Bachelor degree in physical science, math or engineering discipline·0-2 years of experience in related job discipline
