What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first point of contact for adjusters, attorneys, record retrieval companies, and patients via phone and email
- Manage and organize incoming and outgoing PI records and billing requests, ensuring timely responses
- Relay messages from requesters to appropriate team members or departments using multiple software applications
- Ensure all patient information is kept confidential and secure in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Participate in regular team meetings via video or teleconference
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma with two or more years of customer service representative experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, physicians, patients, and the public
- Proficient in telephone etiquette
- Knowledge of medical billing is a plus
