      Job Title: Pipe Welder
      Job Description

      The Welder / Pipefitter position involves a variety of responsibilities including layout, welding in multiple positions both in the field and in the fabrication shop, and designing on special projects. In addition to welding pipes and stands, you will work as a plumber / pipe fitter. You must adhere to all safety and conduct policies at various work sites while maintaining high-quality standards in your duties.

      Responsibilities

      • Abide by all safety and conduct policies at different work sites.
      • Maintain a high quality initiative while completing assigned duties.
      • Work independently to complete various tasks.
      • Supervise and direct coworkers when required.
      • Weld on different metals using various types of welders including MIG and TIG.
      • Work in the field as a plumber / pipe fitter.
      • Travel as needed.
      Essential Skills
      • Proficiency in steel pipe welding.
      • Certification in steel pipe welding preferred.
      • Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred.
      • Competence in welding stainless steel.
      • Medgas certification preferred.
      Additional Skills & Qualifications
      • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
      • Secondary education in welding or equivalent experience preferred.
      • Competent, responsible, organized, and team-oriented.
      Work Environment

      The role requires on-site work involving steel pipe welding. You will work with various welding equipment and be expected to operate in different field environments.

      Job Type & Location

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SIOUX FALLS, SD.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
