Plant Manager
Plant Manager for multiple undetermined worksites throughout the U.S. to oversee, plan, direct & provide technical leadership for manufacturing operations of chemical processing plants; utilize chemical engineering technical knowledge to manage process changes & improve process technology by utilizing state-of-the-art installations; ensure compliance with internal & external technical regulatory requirements and good engineering practices for chemical processing; ensure safe production on schedule & within budget; troubleshoot manufacturing issues; train, manage & develop a competent engineering staff; leverage technical knowledge to ensure product quality meets customer & internal specifications; evaluate & inspect equipment and processes to ensure compliance with internal and external technical, safety and environmental regulations; oversee annual capital budget & long-range and investment planning; develop & drive continuous improvement efforts. Requires Master’s in Chemical Engineering or closely related field & 5 yrs experience in chemical process manufacturing engineering-related position(s): performing & approving process design for chemical manufacturing facility(ies); adhering to RCRA hazardous waste regulations & waste determinations, capital project management and controlling, long-range supply planning; analyzing process hazards, including pressure, temperature and/or exothermic reaction, to minimize risks; investigating safety incidents, including material release, spill, leaks, recordable injuries and/or process deviations; providing technical & strategic leadership to process optimization teams; approving process changes & deviations; and monitoring key performance metrics, including PSI, OEE, COGS & Yield.
