Overview
Enterprise architects have the most overarching view of the organization and knowledge of its capabilities and potential. They architect solutions for specific business problems and verify that the IT technology strategy is aligned with business needs. Enterprise architects play a key role in identifying business needs in context with external factors such as competitors and internal factors like the IT landscape and business strategy. Fundamentally an enterprise architect ensures proper architecture, integration, and overall landscape is in line with RNDC's IT strategy and business needs, platforms are optimized for maximum ROI, while mitigating any risk to the organization.Responsibilities
- Design major aspects of enterprise architecture -Assess the interaction/interface between applications, databases, infrastructure, and middleware systems to identify and address problems/gaps in functional coverage - Provide technical leadership to development teams - Perform design review (and at times code reviews) - Ensure that uniform enterprise-wide application design standards are maintained - Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure the architecture is aligned with business requirements - Provide coaching and guidance to other technical team roles in the organization - analyzing current trends in technology architecture and educating technology departments about new frameworks and best practices - Provide thought leadership and readiness for new technology innovationQualifications
Bachelor's/Tech School degree in Computer Science, MIS or Engineering or relevant technical field and/or commensurate years of real-world experience in software engineering. 8+ years of relevant experience in data management and data architecture.
