Job summary

Main duties of the job
The role of the Play Assistant for Staffordshire Children's Hospital at Royal Stoke is to provide and plan daily play activities for both the play room and for individual children, according to individual needs. To work directly with the Play Services Co-ordinator or Deputy and provide play resources to reflect the needs of the patient group. The Play Assistant will maintain effecting communication with parents, siblings, relatives and other members of the multidisciplinary teams to ensure that appropriate information is shared and patients needs are met.
