What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support and troubleshoot POS software and hardware for hotels
- Collaborate with the Help Desk and vendors to provide technical support for POS systems
- Manage user administration, menus, pricing, and reporting for the POS system
- Conduct functional testing and analyze test results for system improvements
- Coordinate training and onboarding schedules for implementation projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in F&B Technology Operations in a retail, restaurant, or hotel environment
- At least 2 years of experience in managing multiple initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of core Point of Sale systems, especially Oracle Simphony
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in training employees both in-person and remotely
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- College degree or equivalent work experience in hotel or restaurant management
- Experience with InfoGenesis, Squirrel, or Silverware POS systems
- Proven ability to lead projects in various stages of planning and execution
- Familiarity with diverse cultures and remote working environments
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support project needs
