What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research on policies and technologies to support electrification across various sectors
- Develop and customize policy recommendations based on local conditions and existing regulations
- Synthesize and communicate research findings through reports, presentations, and other formats
- Maintain documentation of analysis methods and results in accordance with best practices
- Collaborate with the Senior Electrification Director and Research Team to achieve strategic goals

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in energy and climate policy analysis
- Strong understanding of environmental systems, climate change, and energy technologies
- Excellent writing skills for conveying complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Willingness to travel as required

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with economic analysis related to energy policy or technologies
- Experience with energy systems or policy models, such as the Energy Policy Simulator
- Background in electrification of buildings, transportation, or industry
- Experience interacting with utility regulators and knowledge of utility regulation
- Media experience, including print, radio, and podcasts
