What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and draft policies and procedures in collaboration with subject matter experts and Division staff
- Analyze information from various sources to prepare reports and assess their impact on Division policies
- Coordinate policy and procedure needs for large-scale projects within the Division
- Facilitate workgroups and collaborate on annual and special projects of the Division
- Mentor and support DDD Policy Specialists in timely policy development and revision

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience writing policy or three (3) years of experience as a technical writer
- Knowledge of the Division of Developmental Disabilities, AHCCCS Medicaid programs, and applicable federal and state regulations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in using various computer software packages, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience editing policy or legal documents
- Familiarity with the Arizona Administrative Code (ACOM) and Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S) related to the division
- Proven experience in project management and organization of digital files
