      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct policy research and analysis on a wide range of Medicaid and CHIP topics
      - Synthesize findings from environmental scans, literature reviews, stakeholder interviews, and data analysis
      - Develop high-quality written products including issue briefs, memos, presentations, and reports
      - Support the design and implementation of qualitative and/or quantitative research activities
      - Present findings to internal and external audiences in a clear, concise manner

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Master's degree or higher in public policy, public health, public administration, economics, political science, or a related field
      - 3+ years of experience conducting policy research and analysis related to Medicaid, CHIP, or other public health programs
      - Familiarity with the structure, financing, and policy landscape of Medicaid and CHIP at both federal and state levels
      - Strong skills in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
      - Excellent written and oral communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience supporting federal or state government agencies
      - Familiarity with federal and state Medicaid data sources (e.g., CMS reports, T-MSIS)
      - Experience contributing to policy analysis reports for federal policymakers or stakeholders
