What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead analysis for benchmarking, reporting, performance, and compliance testing
- Assess and implement improvements for credit and investment analytical tools
- Support the portfolio management team with trade tracking, cash flow monitoring, and sourcing new issues
- Enhance operational efficiencies to optimize portfolio data integrity and reporting accuracy
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses in response to market events and special projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, or a related field
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in a principal investment or capital markets business
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills in an investment or capital market environment
- Familiarity with fixed income investments such as corporate bonds and structured securities
- Project management experience and proficiency with Power BI or other data visualization tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Bloomberg and major fixed-income analytics software (FactSet, Aladdin, Bond Edge, etc.)
- Proficiency in FactSet and performance analysis is a plus
- Progress toward or interest in obtaining CFA certification
