- Finance Business Partner for assigned Product Line(s)
- Maintain a close relationship with your business partners. Regularly attend staff, business, and technical reviews with the marketing & engineering teams to stay informed, building a stronger understanding of the business and how it fits within the product portfolio
- Finance Lead Product Line SR/QRAM Process (Business Plan)
- Ensure complete product roadmap investment is identified and clearly communicated at all business reviews so informed decisions can be made. Maintain performance to target metrics so mgmt. can clearly understand if the program is operating in/out of bounds, key inflection points for investment should be discussed against program/technical deliverables committed or planned.
- Lead Product Line Financial presentation at Quarterly Business Review (QBR)
- Provide and communicate financial performance to plan for Sr Mgmt., along with objective analysis and reporting presented in a direct manner to drive discussion.
- Model Product Line P&L scenarios for changes in business conditions/assumptions.
- Drive GM Taskforce Efforts (GMLT)
- Facilitate regular reviews with your team/business partners to identify and drive margin improvement opportunities with established & NPI products.
- Competitor/Customer/Supplier Financial Analysis
- Drive regular reviews and analysis of key market information to help guide management decisions
- Special Projects as assigned by Mgmt.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Analytics, MBA preferred
- 7+ years of relevant progressive experience
- Proven analytical and communication skills
- Enthusiasm to learn our business and technologies
- Experience with enterprise level financial systems (SAP/BPC preferred)
- Experience with large international MFG and/or Engineering company preferred
- Strong MS Office skill set (Excel, PP, etc.)
- Tableau, BI and/or Anaplan experience a plus
Applied Materials Varian Business Unit is the leading worldwide producer of Ion Implantation equipment used in the manufacture of semiconductors. This position is located at our primary manufacturing and engineering plant in Gloucester, Massachusetts.

$92,000.00 - $126,500.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
