Job Description

- Provide end to end testing best practice advice and guidance to programme / project leads utilising Agile and waterfall methodologies
- Manage the overall test strategy, planning and co-ordination of all phases of testing
- Successfully performance manage the working relationship with the testing Vendor as required to fulfil all testing commitments and plans
- Build and maintain relationships with third party suppliers, managing immediate resource demands
- Communicate with senior stakeholders, providing explanations of the consequences of test results
- Day to day working with the Delivery Leads and their teams to ensure all testing deliverables integrated and delivered in line with baselined project plans
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in order to help drive the strategic agenda
- Leveraging data and tooling to provide reporting and analysis/trends
- Extensive experience in leading all aspects of testing across a broad portfolio of projects
- Experience of leading functional and non-functional testing for both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience of implementing Automation and shift left practices
- Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders and manage third-party supplier relationships
- Ideally you’ll come from an Insurance or Financial Services background, but this is not essential

The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Portfolio Test Manager to join our growing team!
You will be responsible for developing and managing the strategy for all aspects of end-to-end testing across a complex portfolio of platforms and major projects. You will ensure that offshore testing partners deliver according to contractual commitments, baseline plans, departmental best practices, and stakeholder risk appetites.
