What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage technical and financial aspects of Power Delivery projects, including status reporting and invoicing
- Collaborate with project design teams to execute projects and develop proposals
- Provide leadership and mentoring to project teams while overseeing budgets and schedules
- Maintain client relationships and participate in proposal preparation and project presentations
- Travel to client locations within the region for meetings as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Civil, or Structural preferred) or equivalent industry-related experience
- Minimum of eight (8) years of applicable industry experience
- At least two (2) years of relevant project management experience
- Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting and Microsoft software tools (Word, Excel, Project)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Ten (10) + years of experience leading projects as a Project Engineer or Project Manager in the electric utility environment
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Minimum of five (5) years of consulting experience
- Familiarity with regional utilities in the Midwest or South Central
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration
