What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct portfolio modeling and analysis of the organization’s power supply position to manage market exposure
- Assist in preparing and filing regulatory compliance reports and acquiring power suppliers
- Support procurement activities for renewable energy and resource adequacy
- Monitor energy market activities and pricing trends to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with consultants and senior management to analyze risks and optimize portfolio value

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or a closely related field
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience as an analyst in an electric utility, regulatory agency, cleantech company, or similar organization
- Knowledge of California regulatory bodies and agencies, including CPUC, CEC, and CAISO
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex information effectively

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with regulatory compliance filings relevant to California's energy landscape
- Familiarity with energy generation technologies and renewable energy procurement processes
- Proven track record of contributing to cross-functional teams and improving processes
- Experience in managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment
- Strong project management skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
