- 8-10 years of technical experience in his/her DCH practice
- 5+ years of experience in managing technical teams
- Deep Knowledge of the key business drivers and key technologies in his/her DCH practice, with a special focus on the European market
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid near-native command of German and professional proficiency of English
- Knowledge of Quality processes
- Solid understanding of German Business rules and labor laws
- Excellent communicator who effectively interacts with technical experts and managers of European clients.
- Trusted people manager with an emphasis on leadership by example and accountability.

This role belongs to our German subsidiary Wipro Technologies GmbH with a headquarter in Frankfurt and is open for all locations in Germany.
The Practice Delivery Lead DC & Hybrid Cloud Wintel 2 (DCH) is responsible for enabling practice led growth (strategic and operational) and provide guidance in developing opportunity in the region in his/her focused customer accounts. He/ She will directly manage a team of technical DCH sub-practice employees covering a group of related DCH technologies (“practice”) and will also be responsible as disciplinary manager for managing the DCH sub-practice employees
Role & Responsibilities:
Technical Excellence and Portfolio
The Practice Delivery Lead DCH will have to leverage the capabilities of the global practices within Wipro and will work closely with the experts on these local pursuits in line with the business objectives of his practice.
The Practice Delivery Lead DCH participates actively in the implementation of business strategies that helps in business growth of the practice.
People Management
The Practice Delivery Lead DCH manages and coaches actively a team of (25-30) onsite employees, with a technical and disciplinary responsibility.
The Practice Delivery Lead DCH His responsible for nurturing technological and methodological innovation within his/her practice employees, for building respective practice talent, Career planning/ competency development/ re-skilling of employees taking into consideration the forecasted demand from the country/region and his/her focused customer accounts.
Resource Management
The Practice Delivery Lead DCH manages the demands related to on time fulfilment for the requesting customer account. He/She will assist to drive efficiency and explore further resource supply onsite/near/offshore.
The Practice Delivery Lead DCH is responsible for the performance management incl. annual appraisals of the employees assigned to his/her practice.
Compliance
The Practice Delivery Lead DCH ensures legal and regulatory compliance and adherence to Wipro policies and local company agreements at all times.
Responsible for strict adherence of German Labor law including working hours, overtime and leave regulations and for guiding employees on those regulations and local polices.
Key Interfaces
The Practice Delivery Lead DCH reports into the CIS Head DC & Hybrid: Germany
The Practice Delivery Lead DCH will interface with local as well as global leaders of the practice.
The Practice Delivery Lead DCH will closely interact with delivery management of the country/region for people upskilling plans and forecast demand.
