      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Schedule outpatient procedures via telephone with patients and offices in a courteous, professional manner
      - Obtain and accurately enter demographic, billing, and insurance information from patients
      - Maintain scheduling and registration accuracy threshold of 95% as identified in audit processing
      - Perform prior authorization processes and validate insurance information
      - Assist the billing department in researching and resolving claims issues as needed

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or equivalent required
      - One year of recent experience in a physician/hospital scheduling and registration or business office environment, OR completed Medical Assistant (MA) degree, OR Associate Degree
      - Strong communication skills and excellent customer service
      - Ability to multitask and perform duties under pressure while meeting deadlines
      - Working knowledge of healthcare insurance plans and hospital clinical departments

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in admissions, registration, and insurance verification
      - General knowledge of healthcare coding practices
      - Familiarity with hospital payment plan guidelines
      - Strong proficiency in using office equipment and computers
