Job Description

- Receive and process badge requests through the designated system, ensuring all required information and approvals are obtained.
- Drive to and from orientations (In New Hyde Park and Melville) and our main office in New Hyde Park.
- Capture high-quality photographs (if needed) of individuals for badge creation.
- Operate badge printing equipment and software, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of badge supplies and materials.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of printed badges, adhering to established design and security standards.
- Distribute badges to appropriate individuals or departments following established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all badge transactions and activities.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers regarding badge inquiries.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and badge printing software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to operate equipment.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Summary:
The Badge Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely production and distribution of identification badges for all new team members across the Northwell Health system. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to strict security protocols, and excellent organizational skills.

Part-time role, Mon/Wed/Fri 8a-12p. Additional hours as needed, flexible schedule.
