      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide job exploration counseling and postsecondary education counseling to eligible students
      - Conduct workplace readiness training and facilitate work-based learning experiences
      - Support self-advocacy and peer mentoring initiatives
      - Collaborate with local educational agencies and community partners to enhance student outcomes
      - Maintain a home-office setup while traveling up to 100% to designated school districts

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate's degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related area, or equivalent experience
      - Must live and serve in the assigned Southwest MO Pre-Employment Transition Services area
      - Minimum of 3-4 years of experience, including at least two years in teaching or counseling
      - Current MO teaching certificate or substitute teacher certification required
      - Valid MO driver's license and willingness to travel extensively

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in education or related field preferred
      - Experience with transition-age youth and familiarity with disability programs
      - Strong communication, organization, relationship-building, and leadership skills
      - Flexible hours to accommodate travel and school schedules
