      Based in Fort Worth, this position will report to the Manufacturing Lead/Crew Chief and/or Supervisor of the department and will often work alongside other members of the manufacturing team as well as assist in training any Pre Fab Operator. Additionally, The Pre Fab Operator/Pull Tower is also responsible for the operation of assigned equipment.

      PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Responsible for the safe operation of pre-fabrication equipment, using skill and knowledge to produce product to specification
      • Responsible for material movement, identification and documentation tasks as assigned.
      • Operate assigned equipment safety and proficiently and train others to do so.
      • Accomplish material movement and identification procedures as directed.
      • Maintain necessary documentation as directed.
      • Perform assigned tasks under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager or their designate.
      • Bring technical problems encountered to the Manufacturing Manager or their designate.
      • Work to improve efficiency to achieve productivity and delivery goals.
      • Use safe work practices.
      • Organize and maintain personal and company tools, equipment and work area in a professional manner.
      • Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures and programs, including but not limited to the process map, support processes, safety and environmental requirements.
      • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
      • Maintain a clean & organized work area, utilize safe work habits.
      • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

      EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

      • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • 2 years experience or more preferred.
      • Must have experience operating equipment available in the Pre-Fab Center.
      • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or work orders to ensure accurate prefabrication.
      • Must be able to read a tape measure.
      • Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electrical components.
      • Forklift & over crane experience required – possess forklift certification and preferably an overhead hoist certification.

      JOB REQUIREMENTS

      • Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
      • Must have the ability to identify and address defects or anomalies in the manufacturing process and or material.
      • Strong attention to detail and quality.
      • Must report ALL equipment malfunctions or production problems.
      • Able to work well in a team environment as well as self-directed when working independently.
      • Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
      • Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.
      • Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
      • Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
      • Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.
      • Exposure to moderate noise, dust, and physical activity.
      • Will be required to wear PPE (personal protective equipment).
      • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
