What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise daily operations of pre-registration and financial clearance, ensuring compliance and quality service
- Provide Tier 1 support for complicated patient scenarios and handle sensitive issues
- Analyze key performance metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive patient registration priorities
- Develop and maintain educational materials on patient registration and customer service processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associates Degree in Business/Healthcare related field or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Revenue Cycle; Patient Access and/or Patient Financial Services
- 5-8 years of experience in a lead, supervisory, or management role
- Extensive knowledge of patient access and revenue cycle applications, including EPIC
- Proven track record in promoting quality and exceptional customer service
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Healthcare related field preferred
- NAHAM’s CHAA or CHAM certification preferred or must obtain within 12 months of employment
- Experience mentoring and guiding team members in patient registration
- Ability to lead cross-departmental teams and execute projects effectively
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
