      The Preboarding Specialist is responsible for the coordination of all screening, regulatory compliance activities and records for new hires, transfers and miscellaneous non-employees. Responsible for assisting and tracking applicants to ensure they progress through our screening process in an efficient manner and ensure a positive preboarding experience. Provides support to the Recruiting Team and Shared Service Center in a variety of activities in the operation of all HR programs. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

      Qualifications

      • Associates degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field; OR 2 years human resources, recruiting, or clerical experience.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
      • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)
      • The position may require travel to various INTEGRIS Health locations around the state.

      Responsibilities

      The Preboarding Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

      • Handles escalated preboarding issues from the HR Service Center.
      • Coordinates with new hires, transfers and non-employees to complete all required screening activities and paperwork to ensure compliance with INTEGRIS Health policy, state, federal and regulatory agencies.
      • Consults and coordinates with Recruiters to ensure applicants are smoothly transitioned into pre-employment screening activities and new hire paperwork is completed accurately and timely. Any problems / concerns are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
      • Obtains, verifies and scans employment / personnel records to ensure regulatory compliance and the ability to validate records during audits, inspections or surveys. May be called upon to produce records and documents, as needed.
      • Coordinates and schedules new hires / transfers into appropriate orientation and initial training programs.
      • Provides consultation and support to new hires during their acclimation and transition to ensure a positive preboarding experience.
      • Participates in tracking and monitoring preboarding activities and works with Recruiters and department leaders to resolve and improve any transition issues.
      • Provides support, information and guidance to job applicants, new hires / transfers, students, interns, dependent health providers and the public, as needed.
      • Assists the Recruiting team by participating in events, job fairs, open interview days, scheduling interviews, answering questions and assisting applicants, as needed.
      • Reports to the assigned Talent Acquisition Leader.
      • This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements.

      • Often working under tight timelines to meet payroll deadlines for paperwork processing.
