Plan and execute age-appropriate, stimulating activities designed to encourage learning and social development for 2-5 year old children.
Create a safe and nurturing learning environment
Guide and assess student development of language, motor, and social skills
Participate in meetings, professional development and other school-related activities
Maintain accurate records of student achievements
Enforce policies and procedures set by the school
Communicate daily with parents at drop off and pick up
Foster an atmosphere of respect and positive reinforcement
A valid MN License in Birth-Grade 3 or Early Childhood Education issued from the Minnesota Department of Education is preferred
Experience working with preschool aged children in a childcare or education setting
Has a passion for working with young children and excellent knowledge of child development
Must have strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment
Ideal candidates should have experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated strategies that support diverse learners
Experience with Creative Curriculum, TS Gold, Pyramid Model, and Classroom Engagement Model is beneficial
Able to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with students, staff and caregivers
Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodation
Has documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
Must successfully meet our pre-employment background screening requirements

Starting Wage: $26.25

Position Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment and providing high-quality instruction and care to our preschoolers. This includes, but is not limited to, daily program planning, guidance of support staff, and positive behavior intervention. This is a school year position. Opportunities available for summer employment.
