      Preservation Services seeks responsible, detail-oriented student assistants to help the University Library care for its circulating materials. Student assistants will be trained to rehouse materials that need to be placed into protective enclosures due to their fragile nature. Students also will be trained to learn daily routine activities in the Preservation department.

      The expected dates of employment are January 17, 2024 through May 10, 2024.

      This is an in-person position working at Alderman Library.

      The hourly rate of pay is $16.71.

      This position is open to all UVA students with preference given to FWS eligible students.

      MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

      Education: Current UVA student
      Experience: None
      Licensure: None
