What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and manage health screening, educational, and health promotion events
- Provide individual and group education to promote core health improvement programs, including smoking cessation and heart health
- Conduct health screenings and assessments for community members
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient care and health outcomes
- Engage in community outreach to promote health education and resources
What is Required (Qualifications):
- RN License in Virginia
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Non-Degree RN Diploma
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Community Nursing
- Experience in Health Prevention/Health Education
- Experience working with Diabetes or Cardiac Risk patients
