What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and manage health screening, educational, and health promotion events
- Provide individual and group education on core health improvement programs, including smoking cessation and heart health
- Promote cancer prevention and detection initiatives
- Facilitate wise self-care practices among participants
- Collaborate with community partners to enhance health education outreach
What is Required (Qualifications):
- RN License in Virginia
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Non-Degree RN Diploma
- BLS Certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Community Nursing
- Background in Health Prevention/Health Education
- Experience working with Diabetes or Cardiac Risk patients
