- Pricing and RFQ Management
- Manage the RFQ form and Smartsheet tracker, ensuring alignment with the cost model for quotation development.
- Execute and coordinate all RFQs for commercial products across supported sites with a 2-3-day turnaround goal.
- Provide inputs to the Operations and Finance teams to maintain and update the cost models for all product lines from all relevant plants.
- Train Product Managers and other internal users on cost model utilization and updates.
- Pricing Strategy & Execution
- Assist in reviewing and approve pricing mechanisms. Make recommendations for updates.
- Support the pricing component of contract drafting, review, renewals, as well as rebate proposals.
- Implement and communicate price changes, including general market increases, raw material-driven and tariffs-driven price adjustments, in coordination with Procurement and Product Management.
- Work with the Product Management and Sales teams to help determine pricing strategies for new business.
- Sales Reporting & Analysis
- Create and distribute sales reports and profitability analyses for the Product Management and Sales teams.
- Analyze pricing effectiveness, customer profitability, win/loss data, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
- Analyze market sales and cost data to understand pricing trends within various product segments and make recommendations on pricing opportunities.
- Support financial modeling to assess the impact of pricing changes.
- System Integration & Tools
- Support quote development system integrations across platforms, including Salesforce & Smartsheet RFQ workflows.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to streamline pricing tools and reporting dashboards.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Supply Chain or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Expert use of Excel required
- Five years minimum work experience
- 3+ years of experience in pricing or cost analysis in a manufacturing or industrial setting required
- Packaging industry experience a plus.
- Pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret financial and cost data to support pricing decisions.
- Proficient in Excel, Smartsheet, and ERP systems; familiarity with LN, PRMS and Salesforce a plus.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communicator and collaborator across functional teams.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial B2B markets strongly preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Remote work base. Location in the Madison, WI area preferred.
TekniPlex serves the medical device, pharmaceutical and other healthcare industries with various lidding, thermoforming, pouching rollstock materials for use in manufacture of rigid and semi-rigid trays and containers, and molded single dose packaging for liquid dispensing. Products include coated Tyvek® and papers, laminated/coated aluminum foil structures, laminated/coated structures containing PVC/PET/polyolefin/Aclar®, and molded unit-dose containers. Applications for these technologies are far reaching, from Class I-III sterile and non-sterile medical devices, solid oral dosage pharmaceuticals, ophthalmic and topical products, and a variety within the dental, nutritional, animal health, diagnostics and drug delivery industries.
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for leading and executing the RFQ process across Barrier Protection System, supporting product lines produced in all plants of the business segment. This role develops and maintains advanced pricing models, manages the full RFQ process, and supports strategic pricing initiatives to drive profitability, price consistency, and customer responsiveness. The role interfaces cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service and technical teams.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring pricing accuracy, consistency, and speed to market, while supporting contract reviews and ongoing market alignment efforts.
