      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Design and assess new features and safety mitigations for the automated insulin delivery (AID) algorithm
      - Analyze clinical device data using statistical tools for algorithm development
      - Execute research plans, simulations, and experiments to evaluate new system features
      - Demonstrate the clinical benefits of new features and safety mitigations to key stakeholders
      - Collaborate with cross-functional groups to meet critical product development timelines

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - B.S. or Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with 12+ years of experience
      - Ph.D. in a related field preferred, with 5 or more years of academic or industrial research experience in control and signal processing or data science in diabetes
      - Exceptional software development skills to implement and evaluate research ideas
      - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
      - Experience in diabetes technology and medical device industry is beneficial

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Publications in peer-reviewed journals or presentations at professional conferences
      - Proficiency in multiple programming languages: Matlab, Python, SQL, C/C++, Java
      - Knowledge of diabetes technology and medical device industry experience
