What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and maintain sophisticated claims analytics models tracking medical cost trends and financial performance
- Partner with executive leadership to provide proactive claims analysis, identifying trends before they escalate
- Build self-service analytics platforms and automated reporting solutions for organizational stakeholders
- Translate complex claims data into executive-ready presentations that inform strategic decisions
- Architect scalable data infrastructure using modern analytics tools like DBT and SQL
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare analytics with expertise in claims analysis and medical cost modeling
- Background in health insurance or payer organizations with experience leading claims analytics functions
- Advanced SQL skills for designing complex data models and optimizing query performance
- Hands-on experience with DBT for data transformation and modern dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
- Proven track record of delivering analytics that informed executive-level business decisions

- Ability to identify claims trends before they escalate, providing root cause analysis and recommendations
- Skill in translating technical claims findings into concise executive summaries
- Experience in automating manual processes and building scalable tools or dashboards
