What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Implement the employer's enterprise sourcing strategy to achieve significant annual savings
- Act as the authoritative voice of the employer to suppliers, addressing business needs and expectations
- Lead discussions with executives to establish sourcing strategies for critical business capabilities
- Conduct complex sourcing events, including development of project work plans and evaluation criteria
- Manage supplier relationships and performance for the largest and most complex suppliers in the enterprise
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
- 8+ years of experience in a related field
- In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of experience in a related field
- Strong negotiation and procurement skills
- Proficiency in bid management and supplier relationship management
