What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead end-to-end software delivery, including architecture design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support for the ecommerce platform.
- Serve as a technical mentor and coach for engineers, supporting code reviews and technical decisions.
- Partner with Product Design and Engineering leadership to deliver scalable, user-focused features.
- Champion modern engineering practices such as clean architecture, unit testing, and performance optimization.
- Own reliability monitoring, alerting, and incident response for mission-critical systems.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Over 10 years of professional software development experience, particularly in ecommerce.
- Expertise in Java Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
- Strong front-end experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Proven history of leading engineering teams and delivering production-grade software.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in at least one core backend language such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with NoSQL or document-oriented databases.
- Hands-on skills with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP and cloud-first architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.
