What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, lead, and conduct second-party QMS audits for compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Prepare and issue detailed audit reports with findings and corrective action approvals
- Collaborate with regional leads and functional leaders to support the audit schedule
- Analyze audit performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Support special audits and assessments as required by business units
What is Required (Qualifications):
- University Degree in business administration, Operations Management, Quality Management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3 years in QMS auditing within the aerospace, space, and defense industries
- Familiarity with 91XX series and ISO9001 standards
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
- Strong analytical and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Current authenticated Lead Audit certification
- Existing Aerospace Auditor Transition Training (AATT) Certification
- Experience planning and coordinating multiple audits simultaneously
- Proficiency in presenting audit results to stakeholders and executive management
- ASQ Certification (CQA, CQE, CQM)
