What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform prior authorizations and appeals for oral oncology and supportive medications
- Manage a high volume of inbound calls using the Webex telephone system
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
- Demonstrate knowledge of relevant regulations and departmental procedures
- Complete other assigned duties and projects as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school education or GED required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a healthcare field, retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy
- Prior authorization experience is required
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Valid FL Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) license preferred
- Previous experience in oncology preferred
- Bilingual, fluent Spanish communicator preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Ability to effectively manage time and conflicting priorities
